I cheated…

I know that I wrote in my last note that I would keep up with the english the rest of the day, but I couldn’t help that I switched language when my dad called. Then it was another language, norrländska ;) I just did it without thinking and when I heard myself speaking swedish I said something like: shoot, I’m suppose to speak english all day, now that’s ruined (I said that in swedish…) Well now I’m back to english again and I’ll try to keep it that way.

Yesterday I wrote that I had made a ”mormorsruta”, so I thought that some of you might want to see that beautiful piece of art ;) Look in the top, it’s not perfect haha but it looks like it should at least I think so…:P I’m pleased with it anyway, I’ll have to practice some more to get it in the right shape.

The  great thing with me trying to use the english today, in all I do (maybe not in my exam…hehe) is that I have to figure out a way to take a path around the bridge instead of going directly over it when I don’t have the vocabulary. It’s fun to ;) When I speak to Sara, she’s studying english and is real great on it, she can give me the words I’m trying to find and then I learn more new words :) I wish I had took the opportunity to speak with the mentor I had in high school, she’s from Florida and I know that I could have learned a lot. Just speaking more with my english teacher in english would have been a great idea ;)

I’ve been thinking about that because I know that I didn’t because that they knew the language so well and I guess I was kind of a bit afraid to be totally wrong, but in the other hand, why does that matter? Ah, sorry for the grammar :P I allways get a bit nervous when I speak to people in a language which they know better than me, but when I was in Luleå some years ago and met to girls outside the locked hostel, I started to speak english with them without even thinking of it (when I realised that they didn’t speak swedish). I think that’s the key, I have to stop thinking about it all the time. ;)

Now I have to work on my exam, but I’ll probably write some more today ;)
